2023/24 Season

In a highly anticipated 2023/24 season, Mr. Smith performs two role debuts and several house debuts. He kicks off the season at the Lyric Opera of Kansas City, taking on the role of Turiddu in Mascagni's Cavalleria Rusticana, under the baton of Maestro Roberto Kalb - marking his role and house debut. This is followed by another house and role debut, this time with the Washington National Opera, as Roméo in Gounod's Roméo et Juliette, under the direction of Simon Godwin. Mr. Smith's season continues as he returns to the role of The Prince in Dvořák's Rusalka, making his house debut at Les Arts Valencia in a production by Christof Loy. He later makes his much awaited German debut as Cavaradossi in Puccini's Tosca at the Staatsoper Hamburg. To conclude his season, Mr. Smith returns to the role of Pinkerton in Madama Butterfly at San Diego Opera, marking another significant house debut. The season wraps up with a concert performance of Tosca alongside the Oklahoma City Philharmonic.
