German Debut

In March, Mr. Smith makes his German debut at the Staatsoper Hamburg to perform one of his most beloved roles, Cavaradossi in Puccini’s Tosca. In 2022, The Guardian hailed his performance as "tremendous," noting that "his arias were gloriously phrased, his way with words often immaculate, and his high notes thrillingly sustained."  On this occasion, Mr Smith shares the stage with soprano Ailyn Pérez in the title-role, Franco Vassallo as Scarpia, and Liam James Karai as Angelotti. Maestro Yoel Gamzou conducts the Chor and Philharmonisches Staatsorchester Hamburg.

Performances take place on March 16th, 19th, 21st and 27th. Tickets and more information can be found
