Louise at opéra de lyon

Smith begins 2026 with a return to Opéra de Lyon, as Julien in Charpentier’s rarely performed jewel Louise. Having debuted the role last summer at the Festival d’Aix-en-Provence, the tenor looks forward to exploring this character again in this Christof Loy production, conducted by Giulio Cilona. Elsa Dreisig reprises the role of Louise.
